  • Hey everyone. I could really use some help if you're interested in defending our Blessed Mother.

This new 'group', Zack Brown Band had a new album come out with this very offensive image of our Blessed Mother:

I'd looked up the artist, and he has no problem defiling Catholic images.

Anyways, here's a link where i'd been posting at, stating how this image was offensive. There are more and more starting to pour out saying, essentially, that there's nothing wrong with the image. Well, maybe not to them, but there is something wrong with it.

If you care, and you have a minute or two, Please help me out here.

This surprises me. The Zac Brown Band is a country act and I do like a few of their songs. Glad I never wasted any $$ on their CDs.

Next time one of his songs comes on the radio, off it goes.

  • I will be sure to add the "Zack Brown Band" to my list of never-listen-to artists. Dirtbags.

And that "icecube" fellow on the Amazon discussion board isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. That's about as charitable as I can put it.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

  • Dear s2srea,

As I've gone through life I've come to realize that there are some stones left untouched. While it is good to yearn to defend the Blessed Mother, it is unlikely that you will be able to move this group to change their rubbish. After all, you're only one person. The very few people that even care are only a small group of individuals. Unless most of their fans revolted against them, I don't see them changing it.

There are more important things to worry about than people defiling the image of the Blessed Mother. The good Lord will judge them all one day so it's best if we ignore it and just pray for them instead.
For those who I have unjustly offended, please forgive me. Please disregard my posts where I lacked charity and you will see that I am actually a very nice person. Disregard my opinions on "NFP", "Baptism of Desire/Blood" and the changes made to the sacra

Thanks for the kind words all.

Daegus- I also came to the same realization as you. I'm not necessarily disturbed by any of this. I mean, really- does anything ever surprise us anymore? I just wanted to afford others the opportunity to comment there. Other than that, I'm 100% on board with you.

PS I hope post HS life has been good to you :D

  • It's demonic.  Everything looks like a skull and death, if not a demon itself.

A while back I saw some covers of 70s albums.  Even then they were blatantly satanic. I've heard that in order to get ahead, many in the music and acting industries sell their souls for fame and money.  These covers are manifestations of internal realities.  Bob Dylan admitted on 60 minutes years ago that he sold his soul.  The guy interviewing him, Ed Bradley, didn't know how to respond.

love to see that intervierw, maybe on youtube somewhere......not doubting, at all, but wold love to see it....

proves, too, not all are into metal, punk-Dylan was very mellow, disarming.....heard the Stones, AC/DC and Kizz, of course, were too.

Fr. Corapi used to mention this, but would never give the name of the band he supposedly witnessed, first hand, consecrating themselves and album to  :devil2:

would aim prayers at this group, the others and Corapi to boot    :incense:

  • That doesn't look anything like Our Lady to me. Sorry.

    It just looks stupid.

If they were honest, they would call themselves the Stupid Zac Brown Band.

  • It's not a saint.

    Saints don't tattoo their face.

And there's a vulture sitting on the dead branch.
Saints don't associate with bottom-feeder birds, scavengers.

Hollow, sunken eyes: infers illness or deprivation or death.

    It's not a saint. It's just STUPID.

yes to the saints tattoos and such. But what was meant is this-they may have a picture that has a BVM or saint quality, then distort it......that was the point....they could have taken something, then made the imaged distorted and added garbage to it...like tattoos,etc.....it could be an image in period looking attire, not meant to be anyone...

"Saints don't tattoo their face. "

Um, yeah, no kidding, not in traditional Catholic art, in those that want to mock or decieve, then might.....like the crucifix in urine.......

either way, it is mis-leading and could cause a fervor, as it has in this thread......
