Thank you for this! We were born in Huntington, IN. Fr. Solanus Casey was in our monastery, named Felix in Huntington, IN. He was there for a short period, I am thinking some years. He had miracles in our town. Our dentist, Howe, removed a tooth bothering Fr. Solanus Casey. Fr. Casey was bleeding too much. He asked to be alone in a closet and when he came out, not only did the bleeding stop, it was healed over. Another miracle of a young child that had a large tumor on the neck and Fr. said, no surgery was needed. The tumor fell off one day. He had many notebooks and boy, I would love to read them.

(https://youtu.be/5YARHg5Q21I?t=105)I was disappointed that they didn't mention about the turning point of his life when he realized he had a vocation?
This was in another biography video.

It came after he witnessed a murder of a woman while working as a conductor on a trolley car. A husband or boyfriend in a crime of passion knifed the woman.
After seeing the tragedy, Father Solanus had some overwhelming realization and empathy for humanity's "Scars of Original Sin" and decided on the religious life.
He knew his calling was in helping others.
