I've skimmed this subject.
The Djinn are basically the same as our devils/fallen angels.
Their Shamans use magic incantations and hash to call them up, for different purposes.
Hash -- like in hashish? We shouldn't be surprised about their inability to recognize these djinn creatures as the demons they are, because here they have misconstrued their "allah" as being their god, when he is actually nothing but another djinn himself.
Biggest incidence of this is in Afghanistan area by the way (Russian/USA/Brit armies sent home with tail between legs!)
Afghans remain unconquered for centuries - despite repeated tries to take over by invading armies far bigger than their forces which is mildly interesting.
Did you find any American or British soldiers who had run-ins with these entities?
Interesting results when the devils/djinn get the upper hand of Shamans who try to use their power and it gets out of control or they trick them successfully, usually death results (or death by possession & driven mad)
Reason why they are well scared, is these evil spirits manifest/hang out at places in the 'Wilderness' - such as [oases], caves, etc.
All [these are] places [where] nomadic Arabs over centuries would stop/visit on desert travels!

I've always figured that's where He went so He could have a captive audience -- or He could be one, Himself. Other people in the desert are far and few between.
All false religions claim false ownership of Jesus.
I have encountered this in general, and their various methods are different, sometimes being the principal thing that distinguishes them from another false religion.
But as St John said, the anti-Christ is anyone who denies Jesus is the savior.
From the exchanges I have had with muslims on YouTube, many have no problem mocking or cursing Jesus.
The Jєωs do this too, claim Jesus was a rabbi, but you go on YouTube and people have posted videos of Jєωs spitting on Christians and cursing Jesus in Israel.
They claim he was a rabbi because the word rabbi in Hebrew comes from the root word that means "teacher" or "master", hence all the times in the NT Christ was referred to as "Teacher/Master"
For the first 16 chapters He is called "Lord," as He refers to Himself as
"the Son of man." Matt. xvii. 23 is the first mention of Jesus as "thy master," then also ("good master") in xix. 16, by the rich young man. These are after the beheading of the Baptist, the Transfiguration, and the blessing and reproach of Peter. Then, in xxi. 30, two blind men call out "O Lord, thou son of David, have mercy on us!" A doctor of the law tempted Jesus in xxii. 36, calling him "master."
In Matt. xxiii, it begins:
"Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to his disciples. Saying : the scribes and the Pharisees have sitten on the chair of Moses... they love salutations in the market place and to be called by men,
Rabbi. But be not you called
Rabbi, for one is your
master, and all you are brethren... Neither be ye called
masters: for one is you
master, Christ. He that is the greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself, shall be humbled : and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted."
In xxvi. He refers to Himself several times as "the Son of man" before Judas Iscariot asks him in 25, "Is it I,
Rabbi?" Later, in 40, Judas came to Jesus in Gethsemane and said, "Hail,
Rabbi," and kissed Him. Therefore this only use of the term in Matthew, was in context of disobedience and betrayal.
If the books of John and Mark are also consulted a more frequent use of the term is found (at least in the former), but looking at the book of Matthew alone, makes for an interesting study. It seems the term "rabbi" is not found at all in Luke.
Actually, Jєωs don't claim Jesus as a rabbi. They don't claim Him at all.
From the above study, it seems that the term "Rabbi" was used as a kind of mockery or insolence toward Our Lord, not with genuine respect, since it was at the time a title that the scribes and Pharisees used to inflate their pride, a title of honor, sort of like "Doctor" is used in our time, or "Governor" or "Representative" or "Senator" or "Officer" or "Deputy" or "Ambassador" or "Agent" or "Attorney," or "Your Honor." There was a time not long ago when "King" and "Prince" and "Duke" was such, but hardly any more today.
The billboard is wrong, of course, but it is a long way from the most offensive use of the Holy Name I have seen. At least they mean well, and are not being willfully disrespectful to the Lord.
I would surmise that they are merely being coy. The Mohammedan doctrine of
taqiyya (look it up) teaches that the APPEARANCE of respect and their ability/willingness to 'fit in' is far more important than proclaiming what they truly believe, lest the thought of their hearts may be revealed (cf. Lk. ii. 35).
They know that if they put on their billboards what they really want to say, it would not serve their agenda because then the truth would be visible. The Moslem plan is to APPEAR as something that will be acceptable, until such time as they occupy places of power and influence by stealth, so as to increase their numbers. Once they have their own system of justice in place, as they do in London and coming soon in Dearborn, MI (sharia law has its own courts and its own system), then their growth can accelerate apace.
Mohammedism is the fastest growing religion in France, for example.
