From Executive Producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett comes The Bible — an epic 10-part miniseries retelling stories from the Scriptures for a whole new generation. Breathtaking in scope and scale, The Bible features powerful performances, exotic locales and dazzling visual effects that breathe spectacular life into the dramatic tales of faith and courage from Genesis through Revelation. This historic television event is sure to entertain and inspire the whole family.
The man and woman interviewed by Raymond Arroyo seem very enthusiastic
and optimistic about the series, which will air on Sundays through Lent up to
Easter, on the History Channel.
The woman explained that while filming she was able to speak to the set
crew about the Bible stories, since they were asking questions about the
script, and she found the answers in the Bible she carried with her.
The man (I think he was the producer) said that when Americans go to
foreign business meetings they are at a disadvantage having been schooled
without study of the Bible, and they meet people in other countries where
a common topic is comparing current events to bible stories, because the
American schools do not use bibles in the classroom but other countries do.
