What?! And they didn't find Hell down there?

The Detroit fact is not true either - it was original US 10 and the oldest paved road in the world is in Egypt and was built around 4600 BC.

Damascus is not the oldest city still inhabited - that honor goes to the Phoenician city Gebal (Byblos) which has been inhabited since around 5000BC.  It is in Lebanon.  It is mentioned twice in the Bible because the builders of the Temple of Solomon came from there.

SMOM: their international sovereign status is disputed.

One wonders how many of the remaining facts (that I didn't bother to look up) are also untrue!
