This quote is powerful, because most Republicans (and even Democrats) have great respect for our Founding Fathers.

In fact, the most brainwashed of Republicans will probably not know how to react to a quote like this! It goes against what everyone has accepted as normal today ("Of course we need to be careful." or "It's annoying, but I don't want those terrorists to get on the plane with something bad, so it's worth it." etc.)

In other words, everyone might feel that way, but Ben Franklin disagrees!! That should make SOME people at least stop and think.
