  • From personal experience, I can say that just living in a typical big home feels like you are living in a museum - it doesn't feel homey at all (if there is such a word as "homey"). It would be aweful to live in a house like that - although I wouldn't mind looking at pics of all its rooms just for curiosity's sake.

  • We are doing a house extenstion at the moment....and the total area is.....(I have converted from Australian measurements - meters) 348.64 square meter = 3 752.729 727 682 square foot.

  • You know this huge house thing always gets me. I would LOVE a house that big. I would build it Tudor style, decorate it with tons of antiques from all over the world, galleries of religious art, most gorgeous kitchen in the world, a big sunroom, a music room, a  real library with built in shelves, tons of bedrooms for countless little blessings. I would have a huge landscaped garden area with little seating places throughout and small shrines. Forget cozy, I am far more drawn to the lovely antique palatial look.

     Oh yeah, and a wine celler... :wine-drinking:  LOL
