Where did this happen? City? Store? Stores location within said city. Random crime, sadly, happens all the time.
Oooh I wouldn't say it's so "random" in some places amongst some people.

I received an email today from a lady that attends an SSPX chapel- she was shopping in a local supermarket in broad daylight when a woman came from behind her and hit her in the head with something. While she recovered her footing, the woman was trying to undo the straps that attached her purse to the cart, and failing that, took her wallet from it and scurried away. Do not shop alone, ladies. ( or gentlemen, for that matter) People are getting desperate and crazy.
I wonder just what the description of this "woman" is.....

The OP makes a good point, try not and go out alone ladies if you can help it.

We had this kid or younger guy I should say, was going around and groping woman from behind or as he walked by them as they were alone in the aisle. They actually caught him on camera at one point doing it.

It takes all kinds I guess.

But this generation has no shame whatsoever some have no fear of the Law whatsoever and they certainly have no concern for women whatsoever.

There are also so many out there whacked out on some type of controlled subsatnce, legal or otherwise.  Just look at all the "random" shootings lately.

Drugs are a major source of demonic activity.

We should all be doing this anyway, but just in case let me remind everyone to make a morning offering and with that ask St.Michael the Archangel to protect you and your loved ones all day long, ask also for protection of your property, at home, protection for your children and all your loved ones.

Now that I am a widow I depend more on my angel, and in particular St. Michael to protect me.  With God's grace I am willing to die for Him, but spare me at the hands of evil people just out for penny cash, or a few dollars.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but am I reading that the woman had her purse in the cart?  If so, it is obvious she made herself an easy target.  Her purse should be on her person!

I constantly see people, men and women, who are obviously oblivous to their surroundings, a mugger's dream target. The best defense against robbery, always be aware of your surroundings.  In these days, our Guardian Angels have a lot of work to do, let's make their jobs a little easier by paying attention to what is going on around us!
