  • We all know our birthdays, but how many of us know our baptismal days, when we were born again?

Mine is on the last day of the year, December 31, the feast of Pope St. Sylvester the Great (I).
"Non nobis, Domine, non nobis; sed nomini tuo da gloriam..." (Ps. 113:9)

  • I'm pretty sure it's the 29th of November -- but then again, I can't look up the calendar for my birth year, because Windows XP won't let you go back that far!

I know, it makes me feel old.

  • Mine is on June 14, the feast of St. Basil the Great.

I know I lapsed a month before I was baptized but I found out that the feast of my natal day, St. Gregory nαzιanzen, was St. Basil's best friend.

It's coincidental as I'm pretty sure my parents didn't know that!

    Ah! Quite a relief.

  • Mine was october 17, one month after birth. That is a very long time, but I was the shortest time of the family. Everyone else had to wait months and months...why that is the trend (to wait soooo long) I'll never know. I guess it is so mom can recover and organize a big party, but jeepers creepers, what if something happened to the baby? All for a party? These days people wait for over a year, sometimes 2!! :o

  • My baptismal day was December 29, 2007, 14 years, eleven months, and 26 days after I was born. I was not baptized earlier because my parents are agnostics.
