  • Hello friends, I arrive here after having been banned by Quis ut Deus at Fisheaters. I was summarily executed. No warning. No probation. POOF! I was annihilated forever. This wasn't charitable at all!

Yet it wasn't completely unexpected. I was at odds with the watered-down there for some time. Perhaps my rhetoric was too strong. But no warning? No offer of probation? Very strange!

If you're curious, here's the thread that got me banned:

    Age, thou art shamed.*
O shame, where is thy blush?**

  • It is an honor to be banned from FE( are they still around?)

I was told that I could 'never' return. This does not seem to reflect an attitude of forgiveness.

  • FE has really gone down hill the past year or two. It's turning into a CAF, plus it's been having technical problems lately.

Welcome, Jit. You'll like CatholicIno much better than FE.

    God Bless.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

  • Fisheaters had to start asking for donations, because their software and/or number of people was overwhelming your typical $10/month shared webhosting account.

I like to get support in ways that don't cost people anything. Like if you're buying from Amazon.com anyhow, just click my link first so I get credit for it. That kind of thing.

There are SO many people/organizations who want your money; it's a relief when there are a few places that don't.

  • Ditto, being banned by modernists is a good thing.  It has gone down hill quite badly

  • Consider it a blessing. Many here were banned in the same random, erratic fashion. I'm not sure why they go through the pretense of having rules on that site as discipline is completely arbitrary.

Here you'll find a much more rational, consistent, and less bi-polar (or should I say "bi-winning"?) moderator,  and hardly any Neo-Trads and cheerleaders.

    Celebrate your freedom!

  • I just read the thread. Your hypo was completely legitimate and elicited the typical juvenile put downs expected from the fishes. They haven't changed. Only Vetus Ordo had an intelligent response.

The knee jerk ban was, of course,  an hysterical overreaction, yet not unexpected. Thanks for reminding us why that place was and is useless as a discussion forum.

  • I figured you would be JP.  Some of the immorality that is excused/explained away over there at times is shocking.

Welcome Jitpring. Yes, things are watered to down there, just to attract "converts" or "reverts" to the TLM at any cost; the tactics they use are similar to both seeker-sensitive Protestants and Americanists, and they even use similar terms and ideas. Essentially its the internet phenomena known as Pop-Traditionalism or Neo-Traditionalism (Liberal Protestants who like the TLM). The Remnant to their credit was actually very critical of this erroneous mindset years ago.

    Pray for me, always.

  • I got banned from their too! Welcome Jitpring you were always one of my favorite posters in "the Tank". It was a very good site when I joined 3 years ago but its turned into Catholic answers with smells and bells. About 2/3 of the posters are Either Indult or they attend the NO and they also are reform of reformers. Quis has also added new rules since December that you can't criticize the Pope. :clown: The place was becoming a joke. I had a melt down on a thread and asked Quis to just remove my account.

hehehe.... I too had a bit of a meltdown towards the end there. The frustration mounted....

Thanks for the kind words, everybody.
