Audio for City of God - Mary of Agreda

Does anyone know if audio books - CDs - of the City of God by Mary of Agreda can be purchased?  Even the abridged version would be fine.

I would like to make someone a present of it.  Currently I am listening to a very nice version on the city of God website, but it does not appear to be available for purchase.  I would therefore have to record it myself.  Would like to avoid that if possible.

Thanks for any help and God bless you.

I don't have it in audio version, but I downloaded all 4 volumes in PDF format from www.catholickingdom.com.  It was free.  Perhaps they have a txt format or other ways to view.  I don't recall.

I think I saw it or parts of it in audio format once while looking for other books, but I may be mistaken and I don't recall where I might have seen it.  I visit many different sites for books all the time.  Just use search engines and maybe you can find an audio version if that's what you're after.  It's called "The Mystical City of God" by Ven. Mary of Agreda, translated by Fiscar Morrison.

I can't help you with how to burn a PDF to a CD if you want that.  I'd do it by copying the PDF to a Word format and then try to burn a disk, if that would hold even one volume but there's probably a better way.  All volumes are very thick, about 2 inches or more.  Every page is a treasure!  Hope this helps!

Nipr thank you.  Before I went copying it myself, I thought I'd inquire if anyone knew of a source with a professional version.  It is good to know that someone like yourself has already looked around.  God bless you.

Merry--Please don't assume from my post that there is no audio.  I don't have an audio version but I'm not too keen on audio because I find the people tend to read too fast and I can't underline audio or make notes in the margins!!

There could be an audio version out there somewhere.  If you do come across it, I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know.  Although I don't prefer audio, it's good to have when you'll ill and can't sit up and read but want to.  And of course, while you drive or do other manual things...

Best of luck in your search!
