  • In an 1890 Civilta Cattolica article that I am reading it says that the Aryans derive from Iafet.
There Is No Such Thing As 'Sede Vacantism'...
nor is there such thing as a 'Feeneyite' or 'Feeneyism'

Is Iafet another word for Japheth?

  • Good question--I spelled out the name exactly as it appears in the article. Maybe a Biblical scholar can help.

  • Japheth is probably correct; Catholic Bibles also tend to spell Noah as Noe and Protestants tend to spell Sem as Shem.

  • That's the one--for some reason I couldn't link to it through tcw.
