Q: How many feminists does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Ten - One to change the light bulb and nine to form a support group for survivors of darkness!!

Q: How many feminists does it take to change a lightbulb?
A: None, it's not the lightbulb that needs changing.

Q: How many feminists does it take to change a lightbulb?
A: Seven -- one to blame men for not changing the bulb,
one to blame men for trying to change the bulb instead of letting a woman do it,
one to blame men for creating a society that discourages women from changing light bulbs,
one to blame men for creating a society where women change too many light bulbs,
one to advocate that lightbulb changers should have wage parity with electricians,
one to alert the media that women are now "out-lightbulbing" men,
one to just sit there taking pictures for her blog for photo-evidence that men are unnecessary.

    Serious question.

    The serious answer is no.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

    Serious question.

The masons, the commies, the feminists, the Sodomites, the liberals, the progressivists, all have power because it is given to them by the real powers that be. If the real power brokers wanted to eliminate any of these groups, they would disappear in a matter of days. Ultimately the devil is behind the real power brokers, and God is above all of them.

    God is in control.

It's true!  ALL of us are ganging up.  Control!

  • Submission to husband frees a woman up to do the things that are really important to her--giving birth and raising babies, cooking, educating her children, decorating her home, entertaining guests, charitable work, gardening, and much time for prayer and spiritual reading.

  • Feminism relies on social engineering, so you could say that feminism is working to control men (and has been succeeding to a large extent.)  However some women do our best to reject feminism and fight against its influence on us.

Oh I get it... let's encourage our womenfolk to act like Mother Mary!

    What a great idea.

But wait a minute... wouldn't that mean, for the most part, they'd have to silence themselves and step into the background ?

This was such a great post that I had to say so, not just "like"it.

Zeitun, if I could give you 10 thumbs up for this I would.

Why any woman would want to submit herself to the yolk of the world is beyond me. As a woman who has had to toil in the world, I can honestly say that coming under the covering a good, Catholic husband will be like finding an oasis in a dry, weary land.
Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one's self unspotted from this world.

Yes, that was another good one.  And I say it from the perspective of a woman who is married.

Also agree with Zeitun and jen51.  Also a single woman working in the world.  :dancing-banana:

  • G.K. Chesterton had some insight into this topic.  Listen to the episode of Dale Ahlquist's series on Chesterton entitled "Fancies and Fads".

    Link here.

It is #6 in the series.

Thanks jen51, jaynek, and Frances. I've been a woman toiling in the world many years ago before I had a spiritual awakening.  Putting myself under the authority of a strange man (or in many cases an aggressive feminist female which is worse) can bring death to the soul.  And destroy the family.

  •  :argue:From a female perspective, the worst kind of boss is an in-your-face lesbian.
