    Someone PMed me about this earlier and I gave a longer explanation that I can’t replicate right now, but the simple answer is no.  I’m Catholic.  I believe Rome is the true faith and not EO.  I think EO has big problems that can’t  be brushed away (you pointed many of them out when some actual EO abused the annonymous subforum)
    I have a more charitable assessment of the average EO than most here, but I couldn’t possibly be one.  We need the bishop of Rome.

    • To be an eastern Catholic requires belief in the doctrine that Christ appointed Apostles and that the First Apostle is Peter. Who is referred to in our liturgy as X the Pope of Rome. We are not orthodox and do not appreciate being accused of infidelity to the church. EO a$$&_): attack us all the time, our actual Catholic faithful have no right to question our loyalty. Our links to Rome are steeped in blood.
