  • Is there any users who have Linux on their computers? OSs with a Linux core are usually free and open which means that you can modify them (see the GNU GPL).
I started using Debian last November and in December, I'm solely a Debian user though I use Windows in other places. Since my computer was upgraded from 32-bit to 64-bit due to the replacement of the motherboard and the RAM, I've got a CD-DVD writer to it, and I wrote a Gentoo minimal and a Fedora LXDE x64 CD with it. If they want it, I'll give it to my older cousine and her family.
Plus, should I make a post about the switch to Linux in Resistance movement? I've read on the LID list (on Facebook, the boycott list is distributed for a fee. Is this piracy?) that Apple and Microsoft, the company which makes Windows, the OS which I used for many years supports the gαy agenda. (EDIT: I have an AMD Processor, but it turned out now that AMD should be on the blacklist. I didn't hear about the list). So, in protest againts these companies, we could popularize Linux and encourage people to use these free and ethical alternatives instead of getting their products without paying(cracking), because I think that attacking these companies with piracy is not good but a full boycott is good because these products still get support when they get it illegally.
EDIT2: the list on HRC is about workspace equality, but even if they doesn't support the agenda with their money, buying their products still communicates the harmful message (according to their site).

  • I've used Linux alone since May 2011. Before that, I used Linux for MOST things.

    I'm using Linux Mint.

    I'm done with Windows.

  • Why? Because suddenly you've got fed up with the flaws of Windows?
