A man showed up at my house today (Thanks, Fr. Pfeiffer and Pablo!) and is trying to convince me to become a home-aloner.
Has anyone run into this man before?
He wasn't up for polite conversation -- he very much wants to stick to his spiel about the Third Secret, the Conciliar Church, and his own private interpretations thereof.
He said he's not "with" any group -- he's just seeking a true priest. So far, no luck (according to him).
He said he "doesn't know" if there are any such priests out there. Of course, that's what every dogmatic home-aloner says!
Again, THIS is why I didn't want my address plastered on the Internet.
This man has a camo "backpack" and he hitchhiked to get here. He wears a habit like a brother of some sort, with a pectoral cross and monastic (bowl) haircut. Quite a character.
Apparently he's hitchhiking to all the Resistance chapels.
He said he found my chapel on a list online.
He had a very nice video camera in his backpack, and he was in my metal storage building/chapel which he was filming *privately* for a number of minutes. Hopefully he wasn't filming the 1/3 of the building that is our own family storage area.
So he hitchhikes across the country like poor hermit, but he has a $500 video camera? Why? Who does he work for? The Dimond brothers?
He is basically a dogmatic home aloner.
Oh, and another thing -- he wasn't all that interested in talking to me -- mostly my wife. Maybe women fall for his spiel more often than the men do?
My wife is the one who answered the door; I was taking a nap at the time. When I got up he was in the chapel doing his private filming.
The whole thing made me very uncomfortable. I'm running this chapel for God and the good of the Church, not myself, or I'd close the whole thing down right now.
