  • Dear Forum,

I realized that I hadn't seen posts from longtime poster Matto lately. I know he has health issues and was concerned.

  • Hi. Thank you for your concern. I am still here. About my health issues, they are currently not life threatening (when I first learned about my heart condition I thought it was life threatening, but the doctor says that my condition improved greatly so I guess sometimes modern medicine does work, LOL). I just haven't been posting on Cathinfo as frequently as I used to for the last two months. And I used to post on Te Deum but that forum is gone and I did not join Mith's replacement forum. I did start posting on SD to see what it is like.

Considered a "cardiotonic" herb, the flowers and berries of the Hawthorn plant have been used in traditional medicine to treat irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure, chest pain, hardening of the arteries, and congestive heart failure.

Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi
