Can you explain this comment to me? I don't understand it.
I assume that its a kind of word game to point out that there are often papal vacancies, and we don't give someone an ideological label simply for saying there's no pope in the Chair of Peter when one pope has died and another hasn't replaced him.
While I understand this, there's a big difference between a brief situation in which everybody knows there is no Pope, and a belief that there has been no pope for 61 years despite the fact that anyone in the world who is not Catholic, and most who are, would look to the Roman See and see a Pope there.
I don't say this to bash Sedevacantists, just to say that its a fundamentally different situation, and really does deserve a label IMO.
