I don't know if this was overlooked or ignored, but I really have a need to know, so I am giving it its own thread. All help would be appreciated.
Here I go again, laying my burden on you people. Not that I think it isn't your burden, too, this strange affair in the Church. So please bear with me and if you have any info or insights to share, I would be very grateful for them.
Physically, as I've said, we need a few things to survive. Spiritually we need Jesus, and to me that means the sacraments. After thinking about it a good bit, I think perhaps Consolation is right, that Pius XII didn't consecrate Russia to Our Lady because God didn't let him. That this is our punishment for our sins. By the same token I believe the loss of our Church is also a punishment for our sins. That would explain why the enemy was allowed to grow up in our Church and take over--why the pre VII popes did not formally excommunicate them.
So, ok, we've got what we've been asking for. No matter how I twist and turn, I cannot see the popes from John XXIII on as anything but anti popes. Their fruits alone are convincing proof for me. But what clinches it for me is "indefectibilty" (sp). No way the Holy Spirit taught one way for almost 2,000 years then reversed Himself overnight. Can't happen. So either there is no pope or we have misplaced him, because these people in the Vatican are not led by the Holy Spirit and therefore are not popes.
I lean toward the idea of a misplaced pope because of the unbroken line of Peter. However, I don't know if the succession is guaranteed. Does anyone know?
Again, should we blackball the imposters? I've read a statement or three from saints which says we should.
One of the predictions Novus Ordo Watch made of BXVI is that he will gather the SSPX back in and neutralize them with invalid priests. I know they are working on a reunion. Who knows anything about that?
And these churches which have a traditional mass only once or twice a month--what are the priests doing in between masses? Don't tell me having NO masses. I have a real problem with that.
