Title: Any drone pilots here?
Post by: St Ignatius on October 06, 2017, 09:31:22 PM
I have been dabbling in amateur photography most of my life. I'm interested in expanding into some aerial photography.

I've been doing some research over the last year or so on the different drones available. The one that seems most interesting to me is the DJI Mavic Pro. It's extremely compact, has good flight time and has good reviews.

In my field of work, I have many opportunities to utilize a drone to access remote areas by air which otherwise require much physical effort to access to get any desirable photographs. There are many indian ruins in very remote and serene settings which I would like to capture, and also the very beautiful sunrises and sunsets in the canyons where these ruins are located.

Here's a short video of this particular drone...

Here's an example, this picture was taken from my phone camera that I would like to revisit with an aerial camera.
