    • I just wanted to let the forum know that I have been banned from the sedevacantist forum "Te Deum." I just found out when I tried to go there and instead of loading the forum I just got a message saying I have been banned. I never got a message or email telling me why I have been banned but I think I know why.

    One of the sedevacantist posters said that only sedevacantists "resisted" the modernists. I thought that was silly so I posted that he sounded delusional and that in the forty-five years there have been sedevacantists they have done nothing of consequence to "resist" the modernists at all. All they have done is set up their little Churches that nobody goes to and nobody cares about and set u a few websites that nobody reads and fewer people take seriously. Then I said that the SSPX also hasn't done much "resisting" either.

    Anyway it got me banned. I am sorry because I liked visiting that website and talking with the gaggle of sedevacantists there. It is also the first time I have ever been banned from any website. I think it is strange because I don't think I did anything wrong excet let the forum know the truth as I see it. What is one only allowed to see the world in rose-colored sedevacantist glasses there and one can only drink the Dolan-Cekada cool aid? Oh well. It is my loss and theirs.

    Oh really. So it will end? Thank you. I did not know it was a temp ban because I never received an email telling me I was banned and I cannot even go to the website to see the page where the mods explain who was banned and for how long. I am glad it is only a temp ban because I like going to that website even though I am not a sedevacantist.

    • If they're a self-proclaimed sede site, I'd expect that to get you banned.

    I'm going to have to take back my comment form a couple of weeks ago about you not needing more than one site for talking / complaining about what happened at the other. : )

    Now that I have learned that I was only banned for a few days when I thought I was banned forever, I feel this thread is silly. But I am still glad I started the thread because otherwise I would have never learned that my ban was only for a few days and I would have taken "Te Deum" off of my favorites and never gone back even though I was only banned for a few days.

I do not go to that website for Vox, I go there for other posters.     This thread could be useful for something mentioned in the OP, which gives the theme context (the context of your being temp-banned from a measly sede site).

    It seems to me that they were irritated with your posting for another reason different from your criticism of their promoting "Gran Torino."  And it's a much more troubling reason than concerns over what a Catholic might watch in a movie.
