  • Wikipedia states that Jєωs in Judea (Orthodox Israel) used  winged suns as seals. According to it, Hezekiah had a seal with a winged sun and two Ankhs. Hezekiah was a king who purified Judea from idols.
Is it true that his seal beared pagan symbols?

I don't know what the truth is (I just heard of this from you) but here's what one source says about it (Google search found it) ...

    Quote
The winged beetle and sun disk were solar images from Egypt. However, even if the symbols were foreign in form, their meaning was indigenous. The prophet Malachi described Yahweh as the sun of righteousness with healing in his wings, and the use of solar imagery to represent Yahweh was at least as old as the tenth century.

  • The Bible mentions one usage of pagan imagery by Jєωs, in this case, Aaron and the case of the golden calf. Whoever designed the seal of Hezekiah could be the cause of conquering of Israel by the Assyrians.

Anything can be claimed about pagan symbols. Be careful of the Gospel According to Wikipedia Editors. [citation needed]

Hezekiah was the king of Judah, not Israel. Israel was conquered first by the Assyrians.

  • Osee was the last king of Israel.

He is not to be confused with the prophet of the same name who lived at the same time. The prophet wrote of the destruction of the kingdom: http://drbo.org/chapter/33001.htm

That book of Scripture contains plenty of reasons for the afflictions suffered in both kingdoms.
