  • I sometimes go back and read old threads when I'm online and there isn't much activity. I was going back and reading some of my old posts, and I must say it's a bit embarassing to read them... I've changed some since I joined this forum, both my beliefs and my posting style. Anyway, there are some things I have done here that I feel bad for that I also don't believe I ever apologized for, so I felt the need to start this thread (I've already apologized to Tele for my past behavior to him for those who wonder why I don't have it listed in this thread, though I apologize again for my immature behavior in the "America and Courting 18 year-old Virgins" thread).

    - I first of all apologize for the way things happened on the "Roscoe is hurting CatholicInfo" thread. I didn't mean to start a big argument. I also apologize for some rather nasty posts I made to roscoe and his defenders (Myrna primarily, it seems like there was someone else). There are obviously some things that roscoe and I strongly disagree on, but starting that thread wasn't one of my best ideas, and I'm sorry for whatever trouble it caused.

    - I apologize for a thread I started last June regarding a comment roscoe made about me. It was rather immature of me to start that thread, I'm sorry I started such a pointless thread.

    - I'm sorry for some unnecessary drama I created in the past when I said I would be leaving over something that offended me (i.e on the roscoe thread).

    - I apologize to stevusmagnus for calling him a "neo-conservative, closet Novus Ordite" during our feud last April. That was uncharitable of me.

    - I apologize to Raoul for accusing him a year and a half ago of thinking Pope St. Pius X was an antipope without providing any evidence to back up my claim (my debating skills weren't very good back then).

    - I apologize to SJB for a rude comment I made towards him a few months ago (I forget the exact comment... something to the affect of "No Trad could be more uncharitable than SJB").

    - I apologize for making negative comments about Fr. Cekada when I knew little about the subject. I should have kept my mouth shut.

    - I apologize to PartyIsOver221 for the insults I hurled at him during our "rivalry" nearly a year ago. You're a good man and a good Catholic, PIO. I'm sorry for not seeing that to begin with.

    - I apologize for a few dumb comments I made about sedevacantism when I first joined this forum. Back then I wasn't overly familiar with sedes and their position, so I would make rather stupid comments about it. Posting here has given me a firm grasp of what sedevacantism is and what sedes believe.

Finally, I apologize for any other offenses I've commited here that I may be forgetting.

    God Bless.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

  • Great thread SS, however a few days ago I apologized in the Library thread for making an initial reply when I wasn't suppose to reply there, and got two thumbs down for my apology.  LOL!

SS, don't worry about offending me, I have thick skin when it comes to forums, but thank you for mentioning me.

I am sure I have offended too, but at my age, I can't remember what I said 2 months back, so please forgive me my fellow Catholics.
    Please pray for my soul.

I entered a compensatory thumbs up.

Now for your penance come over to my place and help me plant this years garden, cut logs by handsaw (chainsaw's broken), turn compost, and fight off packs of coyotes throughout the spring. Now make a good act of contrition....
