Controversy erupts over a young girl's project

I'm sure you could substitute many of these comments for opinions about the Roman Rite mass.

There seems to be a lot of confusion here in 'Murica over the difference between Mexico and the Roman Empire.

But really, go her! Studying Latin in the 8th grade is something not many people do anymore. If it's correct Latin, it's even better.

There is a ton of people complaining on Facebook that the state is wasting money on this motto. How much money could a Latin motto possibly cost? it's just words!

Liberals do troll under conservative handles to make conservatives look bad. Republicans call them "deep cover liberals" or something silly like that. lol

They funniest part is that most, if not all, of the comments are written in very bad English. I mean I understand if you speak naturally, but at least learn to write it and spell it. Then they seem to confuse Latin with Spanish. The education level that they are expressing is at the bottom of the barrel.

The poster seemed to take the pun and roll with it by mixing Latin and Spanish and bringing forth "Y estum?" I thought that was brilliant.

Achingly beautiful, no doubt. Due to various family locations, I've seen upper NY, Mass, Colorado and Canadian autumns. Vermont must easily equal or eclipse the best of them. (and the maple syrup definitely rivals Canadian!)
