Glenn Beck and the rest of his ilk wouldn't be where he is if he was worth anything. That's a plain fact.

Like that other imposter that many traditionals went gaa-gaa over in the nineties - Pat Buchanan.

To me its not a matter of who is more dead; dead is dead.

Time will tell about GB and who he is or who he isn't.

I have confidence that God knows His own, and if someone who is spiritually dead today, like Lazarus God will bring them to life in His own time.

I try to watch his show as often as I can, and will continue to watch it, I don't see the things you people say he says. I don't pretend to know his heart either. I gathered by what he says, he is Mormon because he married one.
I too, don't believe everything he says, but I love it when he mocks the powers to be. Obama, Peℓσѕι et al.

This isnt calumniating a fellow man in the parish hall, THIS IS POLITICS! Here in POLITICS your words and your actions tell the world what kind of person you are, and the latter speaks many times louder than the former. We know what kind of hearts these men have, because when your involved in politics your heart is on display for all to see. Today, only those with eyes to see and ears to hear will recognize evil hearts in the political sphere. Those who do not see and do not hear do so through their own will.

All these people are spiritually dead if they arent Catholic, but there is a big difference between a man that wants to kill you or make a buck by deceiving you and a man who doesnt want to see you harmed. Reason would tell you that in such a predicament the religions that the two men hold are insignificant to your well being. It wouldnt make a difference if the murderer or liar was Catholic and the truth teller a Protestant as the former seeks your harm and the latter your safety.

I wasn't judging anyone's heart.

I used to hear that constantly in the novus ordo -don't judge - don't judge. Well, dear me, maybe one of the reasons we've been made fools of and are in this predicament is because no one yelled "fire" when they saw smoke. Why did Our Lord tell us to beware of wolves in sheep clothing, and that by their fruits we shall know them, if we're not supposed to judge?

This is the way I feel about judging:

There was a time in my life that I too was outside the Church, and would defend my error. Yet, God saw that I was truly seeking the truth, He knew me, even though I was mistaken.

One day He opened my eyes and I began to see little by little, I cooperated with that tiny grace, and He gave me more, cooperated with the more and He gave me yet,more.

This could be happening to many, as the say "neocons" out there, which is why I will not judge. Actually judging means, just that judging, YOU ARE DAMNED, YOU ARE SAVED! God is not finished with any of us yet! The judgement will come when we die.

True however, we should make a judgement about what we read and look at, the company we keep daily in our life, our form of recreation, life in general. Watch our children and their friends they choose. Especially the children. In short keep sin out of our life. "Death rather than sin" should be our motto.

Even here I see people posting immodest sites or links to look at. Some of these sites may not have an effect on all, but for some maybe an occasion of sin. My opinion these links don't belong on a Catholic forum and are much worse than watching GB.

If we see someone heading for Hell, we can try to get them on the right road, in fact, perhaps we are obligated to do so, but then there comes that time we just have to dust off our shoes, and let God handle it.

This is the reason why I can't say GB is going to Hell in a handbasket, or those in Vatican II are all going to Hell, or if you believe the pope is a pope you are going to Hell. How do I know who God will wake up from their spirtual death today, or tomorrow. Yet, some will fall from grace, while others get up.

So many "good" Catholic out there claim that SV's are all going to Hell, they probably really believe that. What they should be doing instead of judging is pray that none of us go to Hell.

I agree about the posting of immodest sites. And I am always thankful when the poster includes a warning because I know not to go there. And it doesn't belong on a Catholic site. Some Catholic sites (not this one) are nothing but pornography with a catholic veneer. Very dangerous.

I don't damn anyone to hell. Where did you get the idea that I did?

No, you don't Alexandria. Judging is a double edged sword, I'm afraid....dangerous to the person who wields it. Yet we must judge between good and bad and take Holy Mother Church's advice and stay away from near occasions of sin and bad companions.

I thought it was the Baptists who were "appointed" to judge who went to hell and who went to heaven. I've either lived too long or too little. What you said makes bucko sense, Myrna.

Sorry Alexandria, I was speaking in general terms, not pointing fingers at anyone. Yes, we all make judgements everyday about what we should or shouldn't do.

It is the teaching of Holy Mother Church not to judge the sincerity of a persons heart.

Know what you mean, the other day I clicked a link here and couldn't find the exit button fast enough, my fear was my teen age granddaughter, who lives with me, would walk in the room and faint. Faint because her grandma was looking at ???

We all know the smut is out there, I wonder why some have to post links to it. While :devil2: :jumping2: for joy.
