    There appear to be some important chapters missing, unfortunately, but anything from Solzhenitsyn is going to be good (and beneficial).

    The PDF is 435 pages.

    I'm going to start reading it tomorrow!

    • So I ordered this book from Abe Books.

    You could choose from several trim/quality levels.

    I chose the leather bound, oversized option, with ridges on spine, embossed cover, and ribbon.

    It arrived today as good as advertised.

    The book is freshly printed, but in a style from 200 years ago (eg., 1st page is coffee-stained/swirl wallpaper thick media, and the rest of the pages are of a beige color.

    I will see if I can upload a couple pics.

    Packing was excellent (extremely overdone, in a good way, so all the corners of a $100 book are sharp/square.

    This was my first experience with Abe Books, and I give them a AA+

    As regards the book, most of Vol. 1 was not translated (“The Jєωs Before the Revolution”), which contains very intriguing chapter titles, and I am guessing, also the most incriminating chapters.

    Volume 2 is the majority of the translation, minus a suspiciously omitted chapter titled “Among the Bolsheviks.”

    But I was aware of all this ahead of time.

    Hopefully some day someone will translate the politically incorrect chapters, and the real Solzhenitsyn will become known.

    How he never converted is beyond me (particularly in light of the miracle of his instantaneous cancer abatement once he promised God he would expose the Gulag system in the Archipelago).

    • I want to thank you, Mark 79, for posting this. A few years ago I was looking for an English translation of this and I could only find a very incomplete translation on stormfront of all places and I posted the link on Cathinfo. I never did read it though because I do not like reading about the details of the crimes of the ѕуηαgσgυє. I read One Day in the Life, but none of his other work. I thought he was a great writer from that book alone.

    • From Ch.1, Vol.1:

    At the end of the 10th century, in the time when Prince Vladimir [Vladimir I. Svyatoslavich 
    980-1015, the Saint, Grand Prince of Kiev] was choosing a new faith for the Russians, there 
    were not a few Jєωs in Kiev, and among them were found educated men that suggested 
    taking on the Jєωιѕн faith. The choice fell out otherwise than it had 250 years earlier in the 
    Khazar Kingdom. Karamsin [1766-1826, Russian historian] relates it like this: "After he 
    (Vladimir) had listened to the Jєωs, he asked where their homeland was. 'In Jerusalem,' 
    answered the delegates, 'but God has chased us in his anger and sent us into a foreign land.' 
    'And you, whom God has punished, dare to teach others?' said Vladimir. 'We do not want to 
    lose our fatherland like you have.'"


    The point of including this little blurb is that it demonstrates that the Jєωs once accepted and acknowledged their sin.  Yet, despite the knowledge that they were suffering the punishment of a God whose blood they called down upon themselves and upon their children, even still, this stiff-necked people did not repent.

    That is the malice of tge Jєωιѕн spirit, defiant even to a God they acknowledge, but hate.
