  • Looks like there was a bomb on this plane. Some pilots are reporting a miissle or object of some sort near the plane. Wasn't there a jet fighter seen near AF1 during the NY scare. This seems a bit odd to me.

  • There is no reason to believe that there was bomb on the plane.  Zero.

Electrical problems where reported in by the crew before it disappeared, and it was in a zone of very strong turbulence.

  • As of this moment, Drudge is reporting that Air France received a bomb threat a couple of days ago-- maybe it's just a conspiracy theory.

Yes, it does... but I find geocentrist to be pretty harmless, so I don't debate them.

    Time.... tic tac tic tac.

At least now, you have some reasons to believe it, rather then none prior to this piece of information above.

  • You are still not getting it-- with very rare exception, Planes DO NOT  just fall out of the sky? The scenario will now emerge-- you can bet Arabs will take the heat.

  • I forgot KAL 801. This went down about 30 days after TWA 800 if my memory is correct.

  • What's this? The number one talk radio channel in Chicago announced that they are seriously considering the fact that this plane had a bomb on it. The airlines had recently recieved threats. Also, the fact that the plane was found in two parts suggests that something happened in the air officials are saying to cause this, then having the plane halves found 300  miles  from each other. No "MayDay" No nothing but a sound from the Black Box signaling trouble.

    Here is some context,

The original post from Rosco was done prior to the information on previous bomb scare came to be widely diffused... or at least, if he knew about it, he did not related in the opening post but rather referenced some totally unrelated stuff.

I still don't believe in the bomb theory while not being all that surprised that the possibility is being investigated.

As for Arab terrorists, since the investigation into how this happened might be very complicated because of where the plane crashed, it's possible that some groups in need for publicity and name recognition would falsely take responsibility... while more established group would not do such a thing, since it might affect negatively their brand name if it turned out later to be just an accident.

Anyhow, Roscoe's thinking is now part of the conventional wisdom, at least as a possibility.  Something that he can rejoice in, if he so chooses.
