A young man made a comment on another thread which is off the topic so I thought I'd start a thread about the subject. The subject is Age Warfare, like "class warfare it is a technique used by the destroyers of society to speed along revolution. It is taught through the media channels, brainwashed into the young by all of TV, Movies, music, radio, magazines, "the usual suspects".

Here is the result of it, a comment from a cathinfo poster, undoubtably a young man, a product of this brainwashing (the same as his parents may likely have been brainwashed as he describes):

Meanwhile, relics like you will mumble on and generalize about how such people who dare to talk about .... or whatever else your Dennis Hopper-era brainwashing compels you to think.

Keep in mind that by virtue of being a traditionalist writing on cathinfo one is already not the normal wordly person out there. Some people here on cathinfo never fell for the Novus Ordo, some never allowed their daughters to go out without a chaperone. So where does this emotional outburst stem from? If this young man knew nothing about me, he would just be guilty of presumption, however, I had clearly delineated some of my life experiences which clearly should have opened his eyes that I was not like the others in this world. That I did not fall for the garbage of the 1960's.

Does this young man think that he "cracked the code in discovering" that Martin Luther King was a communist, a "minister" with a girlfriend in every city, that Dennis Hopper was a doped up mistral, that the hippie era was revolution?

I grew up with a father and mother and a grandfather in the house that talked to me till he died when I was 40. The wisdom that they had from 1890 to the 1950's and the wisdom of all my relatives their age was passed on to me in constant conversations, there was no TV. I have nothing but admiration for older people WHO ARE WISE and they were.

Are there any other young men who think this way here?

Let me add that it was much more than just talking in the house, we worked together in the family business for 20+ years. We were inseparable and all that time was spent learning from them every detail of their life experiences.

There are a lot of young people even in Traditional Catholicism who have no respect for their elders,they think they know it all and quite frankly a number of them are ipso facto their own pope.

You people who denigrate the Blacks have never even known any, all your knowledge is from books. My every knowledge is from the school of hard knocks, 60+ years of it. A black gangsta walks down the street toward you and you pee in your pants, I walk among them and say "how u doin" and they look at me with respect as all real men look at each other. They know that I'm not scared of them, in the same way they are not scared of me. The Black race denigrators spewing their hate and inferiority on this thread, have shown themselves to be book readers with no real life experiences.

So, what we have here is a Baby Boomer claiming to be one of the exceptions to the majority of Baby Boomers who rebelled against their own parents and squandered their inheritance.

The common idea that the youth is somehow superior to elders is strictly a byproduct of enlightenment ideals of Progress as an inevitable yet highly desirable phenomenon.
It is openly theorised that the younger generation has the power (and duty) to break old(er) mores and uses, seen inevitably as conservative (a term with a negative connotation). In perpetuity.

It is also true what you implied: that in addition to this forma mentis, elites are actively exploiting the younger generations.
At least in two ways:
-by indoctrination using the public school system, media, movies, books, etc.
-by "Ageist" rhetoric for which they are expressly told to fight for change (the concept of future and change are omnipresent in political speech tactics with the focus again on the younger generations)

Young people need to know their place in all societies. It's kind of a marker of advanced civilization. If the kids can't take criticism, it's the beginning of anarchy. It should sound familiar to you in light of the current "youth empowerment" today.

Personally, by what he has written, we can see that this young man has learned no respect for adults. He has no control over his emotions, and his vocabulary is so lacking that he has to use curse words. Now let us analyze his position:

He is saying that the generation of his parents ALL sold out to the insidious lies that they convinced themselves was good and true.

Now, I could say the same about his generation, for if anything, the selling out to the insidious lies has advanced at an even faster pace. Let us look at two of the revolutionary changes which occurred in the 1960's and compare the reaction from "his " generation (I estimate he is 35 and his parents in their late 50's and 60's. When I say "he", it is about his generation and not him personally.).

Morality

His parents generation went for immorality: "free love" while single, few if any children in marriage, and later in life divorce, free love again and re-marriage...

His generation is doing the same thing except all the above behavior is considered normal, and now even ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity is no big deal.

Catholic Faith (we are talking in general here, about a generation)

His parents went to Catholic school, their parents (his grandparents) did as was always done, they left it to the school to teach the children. The schools taught the children revolution. The children (his parents) lost the faith and passed nothing on to him.

His generation has no faith. Whereas his grandparents had it, the revolution of the 60's caught them unawares, and their children (his parents) were the victims.

Bottom line, both generations are no different in the end, they b oth lost the faith.

The question comes, then, why should I listen to my parents about these two subjects, they were fooled by all this, and still are. This is true. IF his parents learned nothing from their experience.

However, if his parents fell and learned by their mistakes, they have real world experience, and likely know more about how to help their child than most anyone out there. After all, no one knows and cares more about children than their own parents. Mary Magdalen was a prostitute that converted (experience). St. Augustine lived with women out of wedlock and had a child with one before he converted (experience). It is no secret that most people learn what they know from their mistakes. So, why should we dismiss someone because they fell in the 1960's?

Then of course, there are many people who never fell, likely they learned from other peoples mistakes.

Put it all together, and you learn that this is not about one generation versus another, for both the generations failed in the same exact way. The older generation were fooled because the revolution came out of nowhere. The younger generation the 35-40 year old today, have someone around with experience to open their eyes.

This is not about generations, this is about individuals.
