    Read the article, the point is that is that it does not belong in a Catholic church, it is a private practice in the home done by Germans and invented by a Protestants.

    The rest of the Catholic world outside of Germans and Americans has never even seen a wreath in their homes.  

    I am in the USA so, I thought it was interesting to know. Did you know that? I didn't, so that is why I posted it. You learn something everyday.

     I learned this from my husband and he really hasn't wanted to partake in the Advent wreath in our home even though it has been changed to something Catholic with the holy water blessing and prayers.

    The Anglican, Calvinist, Lutheran services have been changed to something Catholic too, it is called the Novus Ordo.
