    • Did John Paul II and Abp. Lefebvre ever meet in person?

    Also, was there any contact at all between them after the 1988 consecrations?

    • I'm not sure how many times they met in person before the consecrations, but as for the number of contacts AFTERWARD, I don't believe there were any meetings. I could be wrong.

    For one thing, there was only around 2 1/2 years between the consecrations and Abp. Lefebvre's death on the feast of the Annunciation (March 25, 1991).
