CathInfo fixes implemented
« on: November 10, 2021, 11:48:13 AM »
I fixed a couple things on CathInfo today. Some of them I don't want to talk about (don't want bad guys getting any ideas).

But one thing I can talk about: the guest count has been fixed! For years now, it only shows ONE guest online, always.

But I knew that was not true, since we often have over 20 members logged in at once. Usually the Guest/lurker count is at least 10X as high as the number of logged-in members.

I looked into it today, and fixed the problem. So now CathInfo will display the proper number of guests that are ACTUALLY browsing the forum. The guests will no longer be totally hidden.

Remember, according to the software's own stats, CathInfo gets about 33,033 page views a day. That can't be just members.

Browsing the forums, it looks like all the members are labeled as guests now.

Good catch!
Thank you. It was something I did, that I didn't need to do. I reversed that unnecessary change, and that fixed it.
