I thought this was a place where I could come to learn about the faith, but no! You people again show that you live in a SSPX bubble fantasy world detached from reality. You see someone come to this forum who is searching for the faith and all of a sudden one of you ridicules me by name and you give him 5 thumbs up.

Well I tell you what, If you are so happy with your microscopic remnant of a remnant of a remnant, then go ahead and ban me, but if you do, know that in the future if anyone foolish enough to come to you hypocrites for help comes here, they will get the same treatment and they will leave with the same sentiments as I did, and your remnant will remain the handful that it is until your so called resistance peters out into nothing. This is what happens if you don't allow new people onto your forum.
I cant believe I was thinking of going to the SSPX because of this place.

What was the point of responding to my threads then, or of talking to me in private messages? You are not only cowards, you are LIARS.

Thanks for turning me off the SSPX now that I know what kind of culture prevails in its ranks.
If you have any decency you will apologise for your insults and duplicity and lies. Don't fool yourself into thinking that you are Catholic and I am not. You have no right to talk to me like this. I come here for help and I find you hypocrites. Not one of you had a problem with that comment above.
You think you are a big man the way you get to talk to people like this over the internet? You think I got nothing better to do? Apply your own logic to yourself. If I am a troll then so are you. Internet forums are only for trolls, everyone is a troll.

I must say that I'm really surprised by Vladimir's comment.

I was very impressed with most of your posts and was following your progress. Not that I read everything on this forum - my time is limited. I am sorry you have been hurt by his, IMO, unwarranted and nasty comment. Don't give it more value than it's worth.

And don't forget, he's only one person. There are a few of us here that are happy to have you on board.

Take heart, Tcat, and don't give up because of this slight. Keep strengthening your spiritual muscle and carry on. I am praying for you.

Tcat, you should stay on IMO. I, for one enjoy your posts. While I sometimes go to SSPX, I do nit belong to it. It's my guess that most on here do not belong to the SSPX. Don't allow a few morons to rain on your parade. Unfortunately, such persons are found everywhere, but especially in a amongst the godly. The devil knows his time is shorter everyday, and so he sends his demons to the front lines. CI is a front line. SSPX. Is a front line. CMRI, "Resistance" are all where the battle takes place. On earth, we are the Church militant. That means battle. The only ones to come unscathed through combat are those who stay behind in camp.

Hey, calm down. Try to to be rational. Direct your comments, and feelings, at the person you're taking issue with, not the forum man. Most here have tried to be helpful to you, including I.

And realize one thing: no one here is threatened by you not attending the SSPX (or any trad parish) except yourself. So take your threats of attending, or not, a SSPX parish elsewhere. They are uncalled for and prideful. By the way; applying the logic of, 'this person acted in this sinful manner, so the Faith to which he holds must surely be wrong!' will keep you away from Catholicism faster than two shakes of a lamb's tail. The Church is full of sinners and rude people.

Go say a few Hail Mary's; I will too- ask Our Lady to guide your soul and mind right now. (and I will pray to the Infant of Prague for you right now too).

Im not doging your question, I forgot about it, besides its buried in the forum somewhere on a thread deep in posts.

So you ask do I think a decon can hear confessions?
The answer is, from my understanding, that a deacon can do everything a priest can do except say mass. This is the way it is in the novus ordo church and it is common knowledge.

I am hear to learn but am not perfect, but then again, you are only a man and you hold me up to your standards which mean nothing because you are not a VOP validly ordained priest / bishop,
so your council plus the fact that you not a priest mean little to me, you just a layman like myself and got to learn like everybody else.
just becos you learned before me doesn't make you have right to call for me to be banned IMO.

First of all, I HAVE NOT LIED--I haven't accused you of anything that I remember other than dodging my question. And you must admit I had good reason for that impression.

Second, I don't want you banned--I know Vladimir said something about that in his post that I liked. Vladimir's take on you seems to be much akin to mine. But at this point, I fall far short of wanting you banned. Like I have said elsewhere--a lot of what you say sounds like my journey to tradition. But the comment about deacons hearing confessions raised my radar in a major way as I never heard of such even in my 40 yrs in the NO.

I hope you stick around. I do feel bad at the possibility of running anybody off who may be sincerely groping for tradition--this forum was my lifeline. BTW--I am not a member of an SSPX Chapel so don't hold our discord against them.
