  • Since my husband's death, last month, I have received several cards about Perpetual Enrollments; my questions is what exactly does this mean to the person giving this?.

    What exactly it is?

Are their any benefits from this gift as far as Novus Ordo is concerned?

Is it just a fund raiser in the eyes of the Novus Ordo?

    I googled and found this:http://www.atonementfriars.org/masses_and_prayers/memorial_perpetual_enrollments.html
    Please pray for my soul.

  • A perpetual enrollment means that the person enrolled will be remembered in the Masses and prayers of the order accepting the enrollment forever, or at least as long as the order exists.  I have enrolled all my children and grandchildren, as well as my wife and myself, with the Marians in Massachusetts. I think this means a lot, but then I think the NO is perfectly valid.
