  • Cathinfo friends,

I'm offering several ways to pay for any items you want to purchase from me. I apologize that I cannot accept PayPal. They have given me problems with transferring my funds from their service to a bank, and were unreasonable when I tried to satisfy their demands.

Here are the choices I can think of; let me know when you decide to buy an item which payment method you prefer (or suggest a different one):

    1) Western Union - this is the fastest method when you use "Money In Minutes", but the fees can be a little high. If you choose this method, I will ship your item as soon as I have the cash, the same day unless the shipping store is closed for the evening.

    2) US Postal Service Money Order - just like a check, but I can cash it locally. You can generally send Postal Money Orders overnight or 2-day with very little cost, since you're sending an envelope. You can choose how soon you'd like the Money Order to arrive.

    3) Moneypak card - these are available at major retailers, such as CVS Pharmacy, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, and more. www.moneypak.com has a locator for stores that sell the card. It's $4.95 plus the amount you want to load onto the card. You can then PM or email me the code number from the back of the card, and I can deposit the funds directly into my electronic account associated with my debit card. As with Western Union, the funds are available immediately and I can ship the same day I receive them, provided that the shipping store is open.

You may also simply choose to send a personal check, but please bear in mind that I do not have a bank account with a local branch, so I would have to give the check to a friend and have them deposit the check for me. That could take several days to a week.

I leave the decision entirely up to each individual that would like to purchase any of the items I have listed.

May God richly bless you as we approach the holy Advent season.

    Ave Maria,

    Stephen Francis
This evil of heresy spreads itself. The doctrines of godliness are overturned; the rules of the Church are in confusion; the ambition of the unprincipled seizes upon places of authority; and the chief seat [the Papacy] is now openly proposed as a rewar

  • I don't understand why the preceding comment of Stephen Francis has been thumbed down. As virtually everyone hereabouts knows, he's in a pickle, and to get money to pay his bills, he is selling off valuable books at fire-sale prices. Here, he is merely explaining in detail why he can't accept credit-card or PayPal payments and why the more liquid forms of payment will make any transactions easier for him to complete and thus better (because quicker of resolution) for purchasers. What's to be criticized or complained of in this?
