  • Strangely enough this is the only board I belong to that also has men on it. So I am not used to some of the debate and types of debate.  My other boards are women only for Homeschooling Large families and Modest dressing women.

I also belong to some Homesteading boards on the care of animals and such, but there is rarely any debate just general info on care and farm animal issues etc.  I rarely am on them uness for reference.

I am not certain how comfortable I am yet.  Now you see why i stick out like a sore thumb in my NO Parish.   Currently I am somewhat shunned because I will NOT join our Altar Society.
    1. I am the homeschooling mother to 5 children and do not have time. Not ot mention the responsibilities of runnng a small farm.
    2. They are a bunch of contentious gossipy, disrepectful man bashers.
    :really-mad2:

I do admit I like being the grain of sand in the oyster, but still it is wearing on me.

So please bear with me as I may go to read only and I do not feel it is my place to debate my Faith with men. Unless of course that man is my Priest and then I do not debate.

I am reading and learning and may still ask some questions. However, I think I will leave most of my questions for Trad, SSPX etc Religious.   :incense:

Be patient. Sand in an oyster becomes a pearl over the years.

  • If you don't want to join th4e Alter Society, don't.  It sounds like you have excellent reasons for this.

  • There ya go, Connie. I just ignored you. That aught to make you feel like you fit in around here, LOL.

I was always more of a lurker and logged on after a period of absence to find I had an ignorer. Straight away, I felt like I belonged.

Let me know when you're feeling more relaxed and I'll take it off. I don't want to be clicking on the display post button for ever, but feel duty bound to help you out as much as I can.

  • OK, so I couldn't bare the thought of ignoring you for more than 15 minutes and changed my mind.

Connie, can I ask for a link to the board for modest dressing women? I think my wife and daughter would like to have a look at that.

  • My favorite site is...

    www.ladiesagainstfeminism.com

I have belonged for years. Yet, not particpated much in recent years. I am not certain if they still have a forum
They do have many wonderful articles on Modesty and femininity. They are NOT Catholic, but I have never heard anything despariging against Catholics.

The other board I belong to is closed unless you know a member IRL. We have had some bad experiences.
