If you believe the earth is moving 1,000 miles per hour as atheistic scientists claim it is, how then do you explain this simple fact; when people jump up three feet into the air, they land in the same general spot?

  • Because they're moving the same speed as the earth?

  • Regardless of whether you are a heliocentric or geogentric I think you land in the same place because of gravity.

  • That has to be one of the more ignorant remarks made on CI in a long time.  Even an elementary understanding of physics would answer your question, but I'll dumb it down even further and answer your question with another question:

When you are on an airplane that is moving at 500 miles per hour, how do you explain this simple fact: when people jump on an airplane, they land in the same general spot within the airplane?

Shall we next ask why people standing on the south pole don't fall off the earth into space?

Also, for the record, while the earth is rotating at a speed of about 1,000 miles per hour, it is orbiting the sun at a speed of about 67,000 miles per hour.

  • This is the kind of silly topic, accompanied by even sillier commentary, that will go on for endless pages on Cathinfo. tdrev  and ladislaus will raise no question about it.  They will, in fact, probably make contributions to it in the future.  Some forum members may even jump up in place to see if when they come down they end up in the same spot.  LOL.   :roll-laugh2:

  • If you believe the earth is moving 1,000 miles per hour as atheistic scientists claim it is, how do you explain the planck satellites sent into space coming back with results showing the earth at the center of the universe.

You'll get no argument from me.  I'm all in! Geocentrism is right.  Geocentrism is Biblical.

  • Christopher Columbus was a seaman second class
When I told him that the Indies could be found
By sailing to the west instead of sailing to the east
I advised him that I thought the world was round.
    (I really thought so.)
And then I sent him down to ask good Queen Isabella
To pawn her Jєωels for all their worth.
Next day he set sail and as everyone knows
He fell off the edge of the earth.

And that was bad advice, bad advice
Bad advice is just the same a good advice.
    Everybody make occasional mistakes
    And that was bad advice!

Truth is Eternal: If you believe the earth is moving 1,000 miles per hour as atheistic scientists claim it is, how then do you explain this simple fact; when people jump up three feet into the air, they land in the same general spot?

Aristotle even got this one wrong. Any body on a moving body takes up the speed of that body.

But, but, one will get exactly the same result if the earth does not move.

Now let us all get on that airoplane of Delores's. If the earth is rotating, turning, then why do two planes, one going west to east the other east to west, at the same speed, arrive at the same approximate time?

A man on a horse throws a ball in the air. Aristotle thought the ball would land behind the horse and the man. When Bacon tried it, the ball landed back in the man's hands. all were traveling at the same time. But that man on that horse will FEEL motion and will experience his speed through the air.

Doctor Schoepffer put forward the following in 1850:’

‘Currents of the ocean and of the atmosphere were also thought to be consequences of this centrifugal tendency. Indeed, it is difficult to comprehend how it is possible that air (this light body, moved by the most diverse currents, seeking expansion, and so loose and volatile) should not be affected by the rotation of the earth. After the greatest philosophers have postulated an influence of the rotation of the earth upon the solid mass of the body of the earth, surely I do not consider it too presumptuous if I assume that the rotation of the earth must of necessity influence the air! It is not possible, as I conceive; that the lighter air of the higher regions, especially, can follow the globe of the earth when it is rotating with considerable rapidity.
How do our philosophers explain the fact of our not noticing anything of the assumed rotation of the earth, or why, with this rotation, all things are not toppling over one another? … It is not myself however, who am the first to conceive the necessity of this current of the air westward. All philosophers of the present time have admitted the necessity, but have been unable to find any proofs of its existence.
We cannot perceive the rotation of the earth in any way. We cannot demonstrate it! There are no air-currents that we can justly regard as or even suppose to be consequences of this rotation. These facts ought to be proof enough against the existence of a rotation of the earth. Must it not appear almost absurd in us, preoccupied by what they have taught us in school, to accept a theory of the rotation of the earth which neither is, nor can be, proven? Must we not wonder at the readiness of the learned of nearly the entire world, from the time of Copernicus and Kepler, to accept the conception of the rotation of the earth and then search afterwards, now for nearly three and a half centuries, for arguments to maintain it, but of course without being able to?
I have proven this contrary mainly by means of the absence of a constant air-current from east to west. For the same reason, if the earth were to circle about the sun, the air-belt would stay back towards the side opposite to the course, and the air would thus follow the earth like a long tail, as is seen with comets. Let the tail of the comet consist of whatever it may, we have to look upon it as an atmosphere of those puzzling bodies; and their atmosphere must stay back, tail-like, as they move on through the universe.’

Now let us move at 72,000mph through space. Why is there not ONE SINGLE moving experience on earth from this speed-of-a-bullet-orbit?

Maybe you Delores can tell me?

  • Couple of examples off top of head
(never did physics or chemistry before leaving skool after O Levels)

    Water mass behaviour

    Air mass

In meteorology, a cyclone is an area of closed, circular fluid motion rotating in the same direction as the Earth.
This is usually characterized by inward spiraling winds that rotate counter-clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere of the Earth.

High and low pressure are spinning opposites.

What have all of the above got to do with a 75,000mph flight through space?

You describe what is known about the Coriolis effect. No one questions that. It is saying it is the earth's rotation that causes it. We say it can equally be the universe rotating around the earth. Science now admits it could be either.

Now given either G ot H movements can cause such effects at the supposed speed of 100mph, then a 72,000mph movement should have far greater effects. I am not aware of any, are you glaston? Are you Delores?

  • I have no comment just throwing things into the equation - not studied.

Having read Newton was a perverse occultist communicating with his own devious 'helpers'

"Isaac Newton was not Jєωιѕн.(Converso/Marrano family?) Clearly. However, there are some connections: he knew Hebrew, was very well versed in Jєωιѕн history, and considered Christianity a derivative of Judaism."

    is any of this right?
