I've seen it before.
I don't believe a gold-backed currency system is good. Just gold remains a store of value by people in this world that does not depend on the faith and credit of governments.
True. I guess common sense suggests it should be something of recognized value rather than mere paper.
All the money stuff was confusing to me for a long time, because I'd heard so many different things, but... I just started to think, the people out there who say it will take a full-fledged revolution to right the problems of the country (and/or world), has always struck me as problematic for reasons related to this. If you understand that power lies with the control of the money, and the governments are being bent to serve those who do control it, then it follows that the armies and law enforcement will also become the instruments of those who control the money.
People who think that way could throw their lives away by the thousands, but what would change, if, when the smoke cleared, the same people still had control, or still were able to manipulate the people with the same nonsense that got us into this economic crisis? In other words, the men in uniform (of whatever kind) are not the problem (as we all know), but they are the ones revolutionary wannabes would actually be facing down. (Totally pointless.) But it wouldn't really change anything, especially since even if they had a force greater than their foes, people still wouldn't know who and what the real problem is, and if they did the wrong thing, they would only end up in the same position again.
I realized it a long time ago, but it just really underlined the thought... if the root of the problem is with the money, then until that gets fixed, people really won't be able to change anything. It's not just politics that become empty, but indeed any and all effort (outside of prayer), becomes empty and futile.
I realize the thread was sort of off topic, but... I also realized that there were probably people who never go into whatever sub-forum it probably really does belong in, and those who don't know the stuff in that video probably should get to know about it. I certainly learned a lot from it. If only everyone knew the truth, they would know where to aim their efforts, and that this isn't a war they're likely to win by any kind of violence.
After all, the devil is impervious to bullets. :plant:
