I considered posting this in the anonymous section, but I wanted it to get more attention so I post it here.
Hey Telesphorus, have you ever encountered one good argument against your positions on race? Or feminism? On anything?
I see people who willfully misconstrue what you say. I see people who try to bait you. I see people who question your motives. I've never seen one person offer a convincing counterargument to any of your positions.
It's simultaneously amusing and sad, especially considering that your views wouldn't have been considered odd at all to 99% of Catholics who lived in any earlier era. It shows that what you call "post-68 racial views" are built on nothing but sand. Your critics have nothing. It's like child's play, how easily you pick them apart. I'm glad Matthew gives you this venue, because most forum owners wouldn't tolerate you for a second. You're simply too strong.
And it's not just race. There are others besides you who offer interesting insights about race, but no one on the forum has your breadth. I see you pick people apart on just about every contentious subject. You have a powerful mind.
I've always appreciated you, but I became very enthusiastic about you after witnessing you take on the entire Fisheaters forum a couple years back. What particularly impressed me about your "performance" on that thread is that you rejected the fake middlemen who were trying to position themselves as the voices of reason. Your Catholic standards had the effect of exposing these middlemen as covert feminists. So your appeal has as much to do with character as with ability.
I'd really like to see you write a book. An overview of the state of the world today. Chapters on race, feminism, Jєωs, the various trad groups, economics, etc. Something comprehensive. I would buy a few copies. You could publish it on Lulu.
The last person I asked to write such a book was Joe Sobran. He turned me down. He said it would be "too much work." But he didn't say it was a bad idea!
I think you have a more powerful mind than Sobran. Maybe not quite the writer he was, but a more powerful mind.
You're mind is too sound, and your ability to formulate arguments too solid, to not cast your viewpoints in some more permanent form than an internet forum. You shouldn't count on making a chunk of change. There will not be a large audience for this book.
The value of this book would come in the form of knowing that you are providing a valuable service to those who want to see a restoration of Christendom. You would crystallize their thoughts. Restore Christendom in people's hearts and minds.
Our brains decay with age. I think you are probably at the peak of your powers. You're in your late-30s. The mind will start to become dull.
Now is the time!
Just a thought from a fan.
