  • I saw this on another forum in another language. I don't know where to put this but I would like everyone here to pray for this person that he may find God where we all know he is to be found.

My situation is a bit embarrassing. I enrolled here without really knowing if this is the right place to talk about it .. Some of you may be shocked and want can not be me on this forum .. but I tried anyway.
So here, I'm from a family (more or less) Muslim but I have always believed in God, I've never been interested in Islam. My parents have taught me nothing in reality. Believing in God has helped me tremendously to overcome many difficult tests ... but I am well aware that this is not enough. I feel a great lack, a void in my life .. So I do not know much about religion, I feel something special, I can not describe, when I pass near the Church near me .. I feel that the answer is there. I did not dare to approach me. I do not even know if it is possible for a person like me to go into a church. When I feel bad when I feel the need to "talk" to God, I head spontaneously to it ..
I would like to know your opinion, to learn more about the conversion, if it is possible for me?
Thank you very advance will enlighten me

  • Poche,

Can you give this soul some direction towards the Resistance in France?  (It sounds like some people are directing this soul to the local Novus Ordo.)

I don't have familiarity with the Resistance in France.

  • This guy does sound like he's got some potential! I know I sound like a broken record sometimes, but he could do worse than learn about Fatima. Then there was St. Francis who walked right up to the Sultan and preached the Faith. St. Vincent de Paul is another great inspiration for Islamic converts. He did manage to convert one while still a slave!

It is tough because unlike Judaism, where you at least have something in common as far as the old testament is concerned, the Koran and Hadith(s) are completely counterfeit and irredeemable. On the other hand, you can make a clean break from it. It can be easier than trying to purge a faulty understanding of sacred texts.

I kind of look at Muslims as having a harder exterior shell to crack, but once they agree to actually allow Christianity some proper consideration without the inclination towards violent rejection, they are more likely to convert. Jєωs would be on the opposite side of the spectrum because culturally they're conditioned to accept and even depend on having many things in common with Christianity on the outside, but at their core lies an almost impenetrable sense of ethnic identity. However, once converted, gold is gold whether it be from flax or stone.

    Fortuna finem habet.

  • Here is another person in an Islamic country who is interested in Christianity. Please pray that this person and others like him find the right path.
So I'm going to be 21 years old I Kabyle Algerian origin.
I've never practiced Islam but strongly attached to the Berber culture. My parents did not practice either. Until then it will; they have never won anything at me.

I never was attracted to Islam; I have knowledge about it but it does not suit me.
There is a year or so ready, I start reading about le.christianisme and I feel attracted by this religion it is as if she called me.

And now as the days go by and the more I want to become a Christian, but how I lost it so much to know and I do not know where to begin.

So if you can put me on the path and help me in my efforts, it would be nice.
