Not only is any vestige of grace and adornment found in their faces, but rather a sickliness, seediness, and deep-seated ill-health.

Having now read all those scriptures passages in context I think TIA is misusing them to suggest that God is telling us to "analyze" people based on how they look.

Sounds like what today we would call “body language” which can be quite revealing.
