• THE SHOW OF THEIR COUNTENANCE doth witness against them,” said the prophet Isaiah with regard to obdurate Jєωs.
“Thou hast a whore’s forehead,” added the prophet Jeremiah when reproving the Jєωs for their insolence.

Such is the inescapable lot of ’stiff-necked’ Jєωs throughout the centuries whose internal accursedness due to their rejection of Christ manifests itself in their appearance and air.

A notable example is the countenance of Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the Supreme Court.

When in her 40s, Ginsburg, though faintly attractive, bore the marks of discontent and obstinacy with an agenda forming resulting in a war on Christian morality in promoting the perverse sɛҳuąƖ practice of ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity.

Today, any vestige of former attractiveness has been transformed into a hideousness that revolts the eye and turns the stomach.

Many famed Jєωs display a feature that escapes the casual observer. But those with keener eyes perceive subtleties missed by duller sorts.

Given the secular orientation of most Jєωs and their abandonment of things of the Spirit, one can detect in the faces of popular Jєωιѕн figures an appearance that displays a mark of Godlessness.

Such is the look, even a pall of Deathliness, that spreads over the faces of several celebrated Jєωιѕн economists and hucksters.

And what can be said of Jєωιѕн lesbians and ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs?

Not only is any vestige of grace and adornment found in their faces, but rather a sickliness, seediness, and deep-seated ill-health.

Such is the combination of a Christ-denying temper coupled with a perverted sɛҳuąƖ lifestyle.

Woe unto those Jєωs who defy Christ both in stance and practice! A certain foretaste of the lower world spreads over their faces.

WHEN THE JєωS demanded of Pontius Pilate, “Crucify Him! His blood be upon us and upon our children!” they passed on to posterity the “Deicidal Curse”—the imprecation of “blood guilt” for murdering the Eternal Son of God.

The sin of Deicide is not committed with impunity and its characteristic marks are imprinted on its perpetrators.

Blessed be the Lord my God, who teacheth my hands to fight, and my fingers to war. ~ Psalms 143:1 (Douay-Rheims)

• Except that there were probably just as many saints who did not age "beautifully", we just don't have photos from those time periods to know how they really looked.

Many factors influence how a person looks but I would not presume "godlessness" to be one of them.  Godlessness would show up in their actions, but not necessarily on their faces.

• The Face Reveals the Heart of the Man

Quote

Liberals and Progressivists often condemn anyone who judges other persons by their faces or exterior appearances. An analysis of one's exterior would be subjective and false because - they claim - appearances are fallacious, and a very good man can hide under a bad face. Therefore, anyone who makes an opinion based on appearances would be "judgmental," narrow-minded, and prejudiced.
In opposition to this liberal myth, Scriptures give us several passages that advise us to analyze people by their faces and exterior appearances.
Below, we present texts for your meditation.

• A man is known by his appearance, and a wise man, when you meet him, is known by his countenance (Ecclesiasticus,19:27).
• The heart of a man changes his countenance, either for good or for evil; the token of a good heart and a good countenance thou shall hardly find, and with labor (Ecclesiasticus 13:31-32).
• As the faces of them that look therein shine in the water, so the hearts of men are laid open to the wise (Proverbs 27:19).
• The wisdom of a man shines in his countenance, and the All-Powerful will change his face (Ecclesiastics 8:1.)
• The wickedness of a woman changes her face, and she darkens her countenance as a bear (Ecclesiasticus 25:24).

If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

• Countenance refers to how emotions animate the face, e.g. happy, sad, angry, fearful, regardless of their race or ethnicity.

I personally would never form an opinion of a person based on how he "looks", but I would based on how he behaves.

• Having now read all those scriptures passages in context I think TIA is misusing them to suggest that God is telling us to "analyze" people based on how they look.

TIA has another article that goes deeper into the subject and show us a way we can discern a man's soul by his face, eyes, laugh, clothing and way of walking. These are the ways to know the soul of a man taught by Fr. Cornelius a Lapide, S.J.

• Sounds like what today we would call “body language” which can be quite revealing.

• Thanks for those posts & links, Cantarella. I'll give them a read.

To all, my apologies for the OP being messed up in format.

I posted the same article over 3 years ago on this forum. It's much easier to read.
