Well, it is not terribly surprising that such a high number of homeless women are homeless due to abuse. In that study (at that site) it says: physical or sɛҳuąƖ abuse. So maybe another 8% (which would amount to 100%) fall into the category of other forms of abuse (not physical or sɛҳuąƖ).

Many families who are homeless are homeless due to domestic violence

There goes that fallacy that homelessness is caused by lack of a will to work or being irresponsible w/ $$ and etc..
