    • Couldn't the "King" just include an extra pair in one of his "princely meals" or whatever they are called?

    This whole thing reminds  of the line used by managers about why they will allow pictures prostitutes on the cover of their women's magazines but not actual women dressed like (modern) prostitutes in their stores. "Oh, there is a health risk if we let people in dressed that way..."
