    To put this into perspective Tele, a small tiny townhouse near our chapel costs $560,000 or more.

    Yes I know that.  Prepare for a real estate collapse in Toronto.

    It is possible, but probably not anytime soon. Land is at a premium in and around Toronto.

    Luckily I do not live inside Toronto, I am in one of the surrounding cities. But even here I do not like the prices. For now I rent an apartment, but should I get married and start a family I'll very much consider moving west maybe in the direction of New Hamburg.

    I have been told that the St. Catherines chapel is twice the size of ours. I am going to find out I think Sunday(I really should call and make sure that this is the right Sunday that we're going lol) where we're gonna have a huge High Mass with the St. Catherines Chapel. We'll still have our Low mass though in the morning.

    I think I recall reading in the OLMC bulletin that this is for Corpus Christi which would make it a week from Sunday.  But I'm not sure so you still need to call.

    I'd rather not post where I live.  I'll send you a PM once I can access messages. Should be any day now.  Did you know that new members can't use PM right away?  I think there may have been a small thread about that recently. :)

    Toronto has become a large city, but there's ample space around Toronto.  Compared to Tokyo, it's rather small.

    As you say the tiny houses are going for unbelievable prices.  That won't last.  It's quite certain.

  • Y2K survivalist groups have on their websites;

    During an economic turmoil the three most important rules are

    Rule #1 Get away from the cities.
    Rule # 2 Get away from the cities.
    Rule # 3 Get away from the cities.
