You put those bananas out to remember all of your CathInfo friends, didn't you?  :smirk:

Congratulations!

May God through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary bestow His most precious graces and blessings upon you, your husband and your entire family on this very special occasion of your golden jubilee of Sacred Matrimony.

Thank you for cooperating with grace and persevering in your vocation.

Please be assured of my prayers.

Quote from: Lighthouse
My wife and I will reach 40 years this summer.

I would also wish to tender my early congratulations to you, dear sir, and your wife together with your entire family on the imminent occasion of the anniversary of your sacred nuptial vows; upon whom Jesus, Mary and Joseph may bestow the fullness of every heavenly grace and blessing.

Thank you for showing yet another proof for us that grace can indeed work prodigies even in this lost world: for a marriage that lasts so long in this wretched world must indeed be the work of grace and a miracle.

Please be also assured of my prayers.

That does look funny on the picture Mater.  Our chapel has a very large multi-purpose room, and we set up a table with platers of fruit galore, grapes, watermelon, honey dewmelon, cantaloupe, strawberries.  I had so much fruit there for the people that attended the Mass and the nuns that sang.  I just wanted to treat them with something other than a piece of cake.

Below is a picture of a creation of fruit my daughter-in-law created for us.

CONGRATULATIONS, MYRNA!   :rahrah:  (we need a heart emoticon!)

A lovely picture and a heartwarming and inspiring occasion.  We sure need to see evidence that folks are persevering in the Faith and staying true to their vows.  Thank you for sharing.  God Bless.
