Hillary Clinton's former presidential campaign manager has labelled Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern a "superstar".

John Podesta, who was the White House chief of staff to President Bill Clinton and a counsellor to President Barack Obama, told Newstalk ZB's Heather Du Plessis-Allan that Ardern had given hope to social democrats all around the world.

"She's made an impression on the world. She's somebody that people are paying attention to.

"I think they look to her as someone who has found a way to directly connect and make people feel like they are bonded to their political leader," he said.  ...

As I said I watched the whole 16 mins 58 secs. As I remember it (I only watched once):

Some of that was the actual drive to the mosque with the radio playing unfamiliar strange music. The camera occasionally focused on the passenger-side floor where there were at least 3 guns. At one stage he focused the camera on his face, like a kind of a signature. When he arrived, seemingly alone, he was firing constantly towards the doorway as he walked the path into the mosque. There was nobody else to be seen outside or in the entry. As he entered the building there was a man walking towards him whom he shot and who dropped to the ground in the hallway. When he entered what seemed to be the main hall it was as if every man was already lying on the ground against the walls, perfectly still, no ducking, no running, no writhing, no jerking, no shouting, no screaming, no blood on walls or on floor. There was a man seen from the main hall running across an adjacent room. The shooter went back to his car, shooting in both directions up and down the street, empty except for a woman lying near the kerb. He got another gun from the front of the car and ammunition from the boot which was open the whole time. He went back in and started shooting at the prone bodies. After he left he started driving again, at the same time shooting through the car windscreen, then the passenger-side window, basically at nothing in particular.

The whole thing seemed to be staged without all the props in place. We were warned against watching but it was not even dramatic. More like a game. Weird.
