Some great deals on Gregorian chant and a couple books!

Sean Johnson's book on changes in the SSPX is on sale too -- normally $25, but with the 40% off coupon it's only $15.

Fr. Chazal's book against dogmatic Sedevacantism (normally $10) is $6 with the coupon.

For several more weeks at least.

I was just listening to some of these CDs myself, and wow do they have an effect. Chant is in a class by itself, really. I thought I liked other kinds of music, and I kind of do -- but nothing edifies and affects my soul profoundly like listening to Compline or other beautiful chant. The beautiful melodies are matched by the most sublime lyrics, usually taken from Holy Scripture, which as you know was inspired by the Holy Ghost. That's why even the best man-made hymns and songs pale in comparison.

I can't believe hundreds of millions of Catholics and "Catholics" have been deprived of these Latin prayers as well as the melodies that go with them. No wonder the Church is in tatters.

This sale is still going on, by the way.

As soon as I get caught up, I'm going to do another sale on SINGLE CDs -- the ones I won't be carrying anymore. Just like I never sold individual "Holy Thursday", "Good Friday" CDs, but only the full 3-set Tenebrae, likewise I won't be selling "Chant Compendium 1" but you'll have to buy the whole 4-disc set. In both cases, the set price was so cheap, it wasn't worth messing with individual CDs. That is the future of ChantCD.com.

Also, an emphasis on downloadable products. But even for the CDs I continue to sell, I need to retool a bit. Only sets where possible, and a lower price on them.

Single CDs have now been placed on sale for $2 each. That's Chant Compendium 1-8 single CDs, as well as all the St. John Schola CDs 1-8.
Volumes 9 and 10 aren't being clearanced, since they aren't available in any set.
