    The media frenzy around this is telling. I don't know who's writing this stuff but it sounds like more than one author. They produce text for the anchorperson to read and they don't bother to mention who the writer is.

    They had been covering the story for a few hours during which time they had repeated frequently that nobody knows what the shooter's motive was since nobody had a conversation with him today before he died (as far as we know) and he didn't leave any note. Then they reported that his presence on Facebook recently was discovered along with his picture holding a gun. Still no mention of motive or intention or his explanation of how he was thinking about anything.

    "When a lone gunman can open fire on a crowd of innocent strangers what does that say about our humanity?" --- uuhh, someone's getting OUR FALLEN SINFUL NATURE confused with OUR HUMANITY.

    Suddenly they came out with "... anyone who could harbor such hate to do such a thing ..." but where did they get that he harbored hate? There was no mention of any discovery of a motive, yet. 
    .
    Then the charmer arrived: "When we look for what could make anyone do this we should take a look at our dialogue, so we can get to a place where there is redeeming grace instead of this condemning dialogue." --- Now it's starting to sound like Pope John XXIII in his Opening Speech of Vat.II.
    .
    Suddenly any condemnation of anything is what causes sin!

    It seems to me we should be keeping track of how these bizarre blanket statements come into existence.

    It surprised me this could happen in Texas where so many people carry guns openly in public. Apparently no one inside the Baptist church this morning was carrying. Fortunately there was a man outside the building who came prepared with his own gun, which is why the gunman stopped shooting and started to run away -- but he didn't get very far.

    San Antonio isn't very far from Matthew's place. This is getting real close to home!

    • My guess is the location choice has to do with some sort of personal conflict. It's been reported that the attacker's MIL has a postal address in Sutherland Springs which means that his wife is from there.

    It's strange to think that when this man left his home and traveled to S.S. this morning, he probably passed within a couple of miles of our home.

    • I read that this guy was Antifa, and was very upset that the November 4th protests fizzled to nothing. Before they scrubbed it, his facebook page showed an Antifa flag, but who knows if that was a plant or not. 
    Insider Antifa leaders texts were read that "right-wing" churches should be targeted as that is the core of their "enemies".
