No Catholic worth his salt should wear a beard or moustache, especially at this moment in time, when it is such a part of the libtard uniform.
You make a good point.

Long, flowing beards and moustaches have always been frowned upon, by the Church, as being “flamboyant” and “emasculated” (feminine).  A clean shaven man is a godly & decent man.

Certainly those images of beards are grotesque, and contrived but where is the evidence that the Church opposed to men having beards?

As Phil Robertson once said, "that man DID nothing. That beard very much happened on its own."

He may be a protestant, but he's right about that. It's hard to argue against nature as God designed it!

It is a fact that without outside intervention, most mens' faces will grow a beard. Therefore beards are natural and good. One might even say God MEANT for men to have beards, or he wouldn't have given them such a propensity to grow facial hair.

So countless saints, including Our Lord Himself, are not godly or decent?  If what you say were true, then Our Lord would have done well to be clean-shaven instead of growing a beard. But He grew a beard. Ergo.

Stupid Baby Boomer culture...
