I have read about climate change, extensively. It is highly unlikely that the World will face massive flooding in the next five to ten years. Not impossible, but very, very unlikely. The only plausible scenario would be a short-term, temporary "runaway" greenhouse effect due to a large release of methane into the atmosphere, which could raise planet-wide temperatures from the current 15.5 (or so) degrees Celsius up to 20 to 22 degrees Celsius. Melting all the ice in World could raise sea levels by over 100 meters.
