Vandalism and reparation impossible in Fatima
The gloriaTV website tells us that an indescribable desecration took place in July at the Fatima shrine in Portugal.
Four of the fourteen chapels representing the stations of the Way of the Cross were vandalized and covered in yellow on the night of July 26.
The desecrators soiled the heads and private parts of the statues inside the chapels.
Notre-Dame, who appeared as we know in this place in 1917, found herself described as a prostitute ("puta").
A few weeks later, on the occasion of a Friends of the Sacred Heart (FSC) camp, the camp chaplain proposed to offer a Mass in reparation for this horrible offence to God and his Blessed Mother.
He was therefore preparing to celebrate this restorative Mass in the small chapel at the end of the Way of the Cross, but at the last moment, when the priest was dressing his ornaments in the sacristy, the authorities of the sanctuary intervened and prohibited this celebration on the pretext that only the new liturgy was authorized. The Repair Mass could not therefore be said in this place and the repair will not have been completed.
It is to be believed that there is leniency from the authorities of the sanctuary towards profaners and on the other hand a nasty hostility from Catholics who want to repair the damage.
All this is a very bad omen for the future of the place because it is essentially through the reparation of outrages and sacrileges that divine anger can turn away from the humanity that offends Our Lady.
To be continued....
